A survey of businesses that operate a major "matching site" that mediates between babysitters and users, and that at least 40 of the registered sitters did not make the notification required by law. I understand.

Since 2016, babysitters are required by law to report to prefectures, and the guidelines require that the status of notifications of sitters registered by businesses operating "matching sites" be confirmed.

According to "Kids Line", a major operator of the site, a survey of about 4,500 registered sitters revealed that at least 47 people had not reported as of the 18th.

I asked the sitter to submit a copy of the documents before the notification, but I did not confirm that the notification was actually made.

Also, about 700 people have not been confirmed whether they have submitted the notification.

In response to the fact that the local government pointed out that "sitters without notification are registered on the site" in August last year, we conducted an investigation and reported it to the national government and users at the end of last month.

Kids Line commented, "We deeply apologize to all those involved for the inconvenience caused by our inadequate management. We will take serious measures to prevent recurrence." ..

Last year, two registered sitter men were arrested at the Kids Line on suspicion of obscene acts on their children, and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is considering measures to prevent recurrence.
