A British woman performs an 8-hour operation without anesthesia

A young British woman suffering from a serious brain tumor requested a brain tumor removal procedure without full anesthesia and was satisfied with placing a simple anesthetic in the area above her ear to cover her entire head in the 8-hour operation.

The 26-year-old suffered from a continuous headache for 13 days, thinking that she was exhausted, but the pain developed to feel a severe headache and began to falter in pronouncing the words, which prompted her to consult a doctor, who explained to her that the matter went beyond the headache stage, according to Russian media.

And she asked the doctor not to fully anesthetize her for the operation after severe suffering with the tumor, which made her greatly lose her ability to balance and speak, and the only solution was to remove the tumor from her brain.

She spent the operation awake and never closed her eyes.
