Before dawn on the 17th, a house was burnt down in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture, and two bodies were found in the burnt remains.

A woman in her 80s and a son in her 60s who live in this house have lost contact with each other, and police are proceeding with confirmation of their identities, assuming that it was the parent and child who died.

Around 2:40 am on the 17th, a person living nearby reported to the fire department that a house in Kamitaraga-cho, Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture was on fire.



Eight fire trucks and other vehicles went out to extinguish the fire, and the fire was extinguished about two hours later, but one wooden two-story house was completely burned down, and two bodies were found in the burnt remains.



According to police, the house has a woman in her 80s and a son in her 60s, both of whom have lost contact after the fire.



Police are investigating the cause of the fire while confirming the identity of the parent and child who died.



The site is a residential area about 5 km northwest of Kasugai Station on the JR Chuo Main Line.
