He introduced that Zhejiang is improving the “checkpoint” of epidemic surveillance in rural areas to increase the awareness of the detection and reporting of new coronary pneumonia cases in township health centers, village clinics and individual clinics, and strengthen the monitoring of respiratory symptoms. To facilitate the registration, reporting, and referral of fever patients, township health centers should set up infectious disease consultation rooms and temporary isolation observation sites.
Zhejiang proposed to strengthen the monitoring of key populations, key items and environmental nucleic acids in rural areas.
For example, focusing on people returning home during the Spring Festival, people entering the country, people from cities in high-risk areas in China, farmers' market workers, and people who have recently participated in gatherings such as weddings, funerals, and gatherings, regular nucleic acid sampling monitoring will be conducted; Cold-chain food or other items from cities in high-risk areas in the country, as well as in the village's homestays, restaurants, nursing homes, farmer's markets, religious activities and other places, are regularly sampled and tested.
In accordance with the principle of “central villages, full coverage of administrative villages”, in the first quarter of this year, Zhejiang’s villages and towns actively sampled and tested no less than 30 samples per week for key populations, key objects and the environment.
