The Corona pandemic has shaken the routine work rules and concepts, redefined productivity, and forced the routine complex to dissolve and dissolve, but development still has a place.

Linking the workers' quota to the geographic square of the offices is understandable, but with the application of flexible working hours and remote work, these established practical rules must be reconsidered, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation with its young leaders has the best competencies and experiences capable of understanding the requirements of change and restructuring the work-productivity link Employment contracts, even tax payments, and decoupling geographic office spaces are requirements for granting work permits.

Many of today's employees prefer to work from home, in whole or in part, for a few days a week.

Many of today's employees prefer to work from their homes, in whole or in part, for a few days a week, due to the flexibility, ease and reduction in transportation costs and traffic tariffs, as well as congestion and the inconvenience of rush hours.

A study may be made to introduce controls that allow remote work and phases, in part or in full, for certain professions, which rise in specific, studied rates, and are included in the licensing or labor quota.

Technical, advisory, banking and accounting jobs, and many others, can be determined at progressive rates for establishments that may start with 30 or 50%, or even 100%, depending on the nature of the entity’s work, and based on the classification, in order to reduce the required geographical area for offices accordingly.

If this initiative is realized, with the existence of existing and applied virtual work center models, it will contribute to the private sector catching up with the progress of government work, and the business continuity plans that have begun to bear fruit in sensitive economic sectors such as banks and others, which I see the importance of stimulating them like other sectors, because of that. Among the many advantages that are not limited to ensuring institutional agility, resilience of institutions, sustainability and stimulation of growth without additional unnecessary costs, such as: renting additional offices or furnishing, interior coordination and exaggerated decorations to accommodate new employees and workforce.

Goodness is in the presence, and this year, it taught us that institutional work can be accomplished in several ways and remotely, and rationalizing expenses is the pillar of continuity and a better option than reducing salaries or dismissing employees.

We look forward to sustaining the development of this culture with qualitative and innovative incentives, including disengaging the labor quota from office spaces, and also establishing other incentives for companies that contribute to this cultural and economic change with concepts of work towards the future, as our country is the homeland of the future and innovation incubator, and the private sector is one of the pillars of this desired future.
