Alxa League has experienced large-scale windy and sandy weather for 4 consecutive days, the first time since January 1986.
On the 14th, the dusty weather in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia led to poor air quality and low visibility. Since the 13th, the Baita Airport in Hohhot has cancelled 10 flights.
The dust source of this large-scale dust weather is the Badain Jaran Desert in the east of Alxa League and the Gobi area in the south of Mongolia. The Badain Jaran Desert is the main source of dust.
