Aomori Prefecture announced that it has been confirmed that 24 people in Aomori City and one person in the jurisdiction of the Kamijusan Health Center are infected with the new coronavirus.
According to Aomori City, infection was confirmed in men and women in their teens to 40s, and a new cluster occurred at a school in the city.
The total number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is 607, including those who have already recovered and those who have died.
