China News Service, Jilin, January 14 (Shi Hongyu) Pan Jinlong, who had just gone through the night shift, was still very moved when he remembered the cup of milk tea he had drunk. In the cold winter in Northeast China, he received the "first cup of milk tea" from the patient.

As an emergency doctor at Jilin Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, he rushed to Wuhan to fight the epidemic last year. Patients paid tribute to the former "retrograde" in various ways.

33-year-old Pan Jinlong introduced that in the night shift on the 6th of this month, he will start working after the normal shift.

Consultation and treatment of emergency patients, the entire emergency department staff on duty are busy.

At 2 o'clock in the morning, when he returned to the workstation after a rescue work, he found 5 cups of milk tea on the table.

There was a note on the milk tea, which read, "Thank you Dr. Pan for your patient, meticulous diagnosis, treatment and service. I will give you the first cup of milk tea after the winter solstice." A smiley face was drawn behind.

"I worked a lot on that day and I was very tired, but I felt too warm when I saw the milk tea. I didn't expect the patient to do this." Pan Jinlong recalled that he saw many patients that day and could not guess who delivered it.

He later inquired and learned that after the patient ordered milk tea, he entrusted the security guard at the door to pass it to him without leaving his name.

In February last year, Pan Jinlong rushed to Wuhan, Hubei with the Jilin Provincial Medical Team. At Leishenshan Hospital, he joined hands with many colleagues to fight the new crown pneumonia epidemic.

After returning to their hometown, they were treated like heroes, and Jilin citizens learned about their deeds through various channels.

Some patients expressed more understanding and gratitude to Pan Jinlong when receiving treatment.

Pan Jinlong said that when he saw the milk tea, the milk tea was already cold, but the warmth was in his heart.

"That is the patient's understanding and respect for the medical staff." (End)
