In order to cope with the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, Songshan Shaolin Temple, Luoyang White Horse Temple, Kaifeng Daxiangguo Temple and other famous temples in the Central Plains have once again "closed door to thank guests" since the 13th.

Henan Songshan Scenic Area Management Committee announced on the 12th that from January 13, 2021, the Shaolin Temple, Chuzu Temple, Zhongyue Temple and other religious sites in Songshan Scenic Area will be temporarily closed to the public.

In addition, many religious sites in Henan, including the Baima Temple in Luoyang and Daxiangguo in Kaifeng, have been temporarily closed to the outside world, and collective religious activities have been suspended.

The resident monks in the monastery will chant sutras and pray for blessings during this period, hoping that the epidemic will end soon.

The specific opening time will be notified separately.

At the end of January 2020, affected by the new crown pneumonia epidemic, temples such as Shaolin Temple, White Horse Temple, and Daxiangguo Temple also "closed their doors to thank guests", and only reopened after a few months.
