On the evening of January 12, at the site of the explosion accident at the Qixia Gold Mine in Shandong, the rescue force was adopting an uninterrupted operation mode to promote the shaft clearing operation and the construction of the rescue hole.

It is understood that due to the explosion damage to the wellbore equipment, the resistance of the ventilation pipes is large, the discharge of toxic gases, and the removal of obstacles require a certain amount of time. The on-site rescue is complicated, difficult, and arduous.

At present, more than 320 people have participated in the rescue, and rescue equipment has been shipped to the scene one after another.

As of press time, 22 trapped workers have not been in contact.
