  China News Service, Hong Kong, January 11 (Reporter Zeng Ping) A survey released by the Hong Kong Democratic Alliance for the Advancement of Hong Kong (DAB) on the 11th showed that nearly 90% of Hong Kong citizens interviewed have a strong desire and expectation to be vaccinated against the new crown Among them, more than 80% of the respondents would choose the Kexing vaccine in the Mainland.

The DAB believes that the survey results reflect that the vast majority of Hong Kong citizens interviewed have confidence in the Mainland Kexing vaccine.

  The DAB conducted a random survey through physical and online questionnaires from January 4 to 8 this year to understand Hong Kong citizens' views on the new crown vaccine, which vaccine to choose, etc., and received more than 4462 valid questionnaires.

The results showed that 88.8% of respondents voluntarily received the new crown vaccine.

Among the respondents who voluntarily vaccinated, 83.5% said they would choose to vaccinate Kexing vaccine.

  The DAB Legislative Council Member Leung Chi-hsiang said that the survey results reflect that the vast majority of Hong Kong citizens have confidence in the Mainland's Kexing vaccine. The situation sends a positive message to the SAR government's implementation of universal vaccination.

After a year of fighting the epidemic, Hong Kong citizens hope that the epidemic will be eliminated as soon as possible due to vaccination.

  The DAB Legislative Council Member Zhou Haoding said that most of the citizens interviewed have expressed their strong desire and expectation to be vaccinated against the new crown.

The DAB hopes that the SAR government will announce the overall plan for vaccination as soon as possible and provide appropriate incentives to encourage citizens to get vaccinated.
