Every year, many poultry farms are affected by bird flu.
According to the latest figures from the Ministry of Agriculture, 127 outbreaks were confirmed in French farms this winter, including 119 in the Landes.
A figure that has doubled in a week.
To prevent an even greater proliferation, the state has ordered slaughterings to be speeded up, while more than 600,000 ducks have been euthanized in France since December.
