This beautiful sun in a biting cold is deceptive and turns the sky blue to milky.
An episode of air pollution is underway this Friday in the departments of Haute-Garonne, Tarn-et-Garonne, Tarn and Hautes-Pyrénées.
"The cold weather conditions which have not been very dispersive for several days have favored the accumulation of particles suspended in the ambient air", explains the Regional Air Observatory (Atmo Occitanie).

Specialists remain optimistic about the duration of the phenomenon which should be confined to this day of Friday.
While waiting for the air to improve, it is advisable for frail people - expectant mothers, sick people, the elderly or children with asthma - to limit their physical activities and their movements near major roads.
For others, it is better not to choose this beautiful day to burn green waste or light a possible fireplace.
