Director Louis Leterrier signs the series "Lupine" for Netflix, starring actor Omar Sy.

Guest of the program "Culture Médias" Friday, he specifies at the microphone of Philippe Vandel his new projects in France and in the United States.

And announces a sequel to the comedy "On the other side of the periphery".

INTERVIEW

In 2012, the actors Omar Sy and Laurent Lafitte played a poorly arranged cop duo in the comedy

On the other side of the periphery

, directed by David Charbon.

The film should have a sequel, as revealed by director Louis Leterrier.

He will thus find Omar Sy, the two men who worked together on the series

Lupine

, which has just been released on Netflix.

Working on this sequel was obvious for Louis Leterrier, as he explained on Friday in

Culture Médias

.

Asked about his future projects, the director explains that he is preparing for Netflix

Bright 2

, with Will Smith, but that he will also return to France.

"I have become quite addicted to Omar Sy and France," he smiles.

"So I'm coming back to France to shoot the sequel to

On the other side of the ring road

with Omar Sy and Laurent Lafitte."

"I read the script and I cried with laughter"

And this project seems to be the director's delight, to say the least.

"It's a very, very good film and the rest is written by Stéphane Kazandjian who is absolutely extraordinary and so funny", promises Louis Leterrier.

“I read the script and cried with laughter. I asked 'Can I do this? Please let me do it!'

And we said okay. "

The filming and release dates of the

On the Other Side of the Ring

sequel are not yet known
