May 2020

In late spring, in the main building of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, a chamber exposition of a dozen masterpieces by masters of the Italian High and Late Middle Ages will be organized.

They cover the period from the 13th to the 15th century.

Of particular interest is the stylistic variety of works.

Thus, the works of Duccio di Buoninsegna were written under the influence of Byzantine art, while the works of the Lorenzetti brothers show the Gothic style combined with the original finds of the painters.
