Aomori Prefecture announced that a total of nine people have been confirmed to be newly infected with the new coronavirus in Hachinohe City and the jurisdiction of the Kamijusan Health Center.
The total number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is 554, including those who have already recovered and those who have died.
