Fortunately, starting from yesterday, the peak of this cold wave has passed, but today, the same severe cold as yesterday continues.
If you look at the current temperature, the temperature in Anheung-myeon, Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon-do, has plummeted to -26.9 degrees Celsius, Uiseong and Jangsu are around -20 degrees Celsius, and Seoul is -16 degrees Celsius.
This severe cold is expected to continue for the time being.
After that, even if the temperature gradually rises, it will still be below the normal level, and it is expected that it will return to the normal level only by day on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, even heavy snow warnings are in effect in Jeju, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo, where a lot of snow has already fallen amid this cold, and heavy snow is forecasted until tomorrow around these areas, so we need to prepare.
Up to 20cm or more of snow will fall, and other west coasts will show a lull until daytime, but up to 5cm of snow will come by tomorrow.
On the other hand, the atmosphere in the eastern region where there is no news of snow and rain continues to be dry, and strong winds blow here, so you should be careful about fire accidents.
