The East Nippon Expressway, which is constructing a road underground near the site for depressions and cavities found in a residential area in Chofu City, Tokyo last October, has a dedicated window for consultations with local residents. It will be set up from the 8th and will be dealt with.

In October of last year, in response to the collapse of roads and underground cavities found one after another in a residential area of Chofu City, tunnel excavation work of "Tokyo Gaikan Expressway" = commonly known as "Outer Ring Road" was carried out in the nearby underground. The East Nippon Expressway Company held a meeting last month and announced the results of an analysis that it is highly probable that construction is one of the factors behind the depressions and cavities.

Since the residents in the vicinity have received multiple information such as cracks in the houses that are thought to be affected by the construction, the East Nippon Expressway is considering compensation for such damage, and from the 8th, a dedicated consultation desk will be opened. It will be installed and will be available for consultation with residents.

Consultations are available at the consultation desk set up at the Tsutsujigaoka Children's Center in Chofu City from 9 am to noon on the 8th, as well as by using a dedicated toll-free number.
