The Jiuqu Yellow River, which flows through 9 provinces (autonomous regions), has continued to extend its ice cover.

  A reporter from China News Agency learned from the Flood and Drought Prevention Bureau of the Yellow River Water Conservancy Commission on the 6th that as of 10:00 on January 5, the Ningmeng and Ningmen section of the Yellow River was closed for 649.5 kilometers.

The Longkou reservoir area in the middle reaches is frozen for 21 kilometers, the Tianqiao reservoir area is frozen for 31 kilometers, and the Linfen River section is frozen for 7 kilometers.

  As of 8 o'clock on the 5th, the upper reaches of the Yellow River from the Yueya Lake section of the Ningxia section to Mahuanggou Liuling, the length of 106 kilometers; the middle reaches of the meander section of the flow density of 10%; downstream Shandong Liaocheng Taozui control project below the flow of flow, the length of 357 Kilometers, the density of flowing Ling is 5% to 40%.

  In the past few days, the Hukou Waterfall on the northern mainstream of the Yellow River has frozen, like a white dragon winding through the canyon. The drop of the waterfall has become smaller, the ice on both sides of the river is crystal clear, and the wonder of the ice waterfall has reappeared.

  The Chinese Meteorological Department issued a reminder on the 6th that the temperature in the central and eastern regions will continue to fall in the next three days, and the temperature in North China, Huanghuai and other places will hit new winter lows.

  At present, the Yellow River Water Conservancy Commission has issued a notice to the Shandong River Affairs Bureau in the lower reaches of the Yellow River, requesting to strengthen the monitoring of the situation and emergency guards, strengthen the supervision of project inspections and wading safety, and ensure the safety of downstream protection.
