The ski lifts will not reopen Thursday in France as it was initially envisaged, indicated this Wednesday the Secretary of State in charge of Tourism Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, invoking "a rather ascending level in terms of new cases (of Covid-19) and resuscitations ”.

"The government is well aware that there is a need for visibility for the mountain sector and we are committed to giving them this visibility as quickly as possible for the rest of the season", added the Secretary of State. , noting however that no new date should be set before the Defense Council next week.
