The collapse of a bridge in Nantong, Jiangsu, no casualties was caused by a ship collision

On the 5th, the People's Government of Liuqiao Town, Tongzhou District, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province informed the public that at about 11 o'clock that day, a Rudong-registered ship hit the pier of the Jiuwei Port Hero Bridge and caused a mid-span bridge. The face collapsed with no casualties.

　　At present, the scene has been sealed off, relevant departments of Tongzhou District have implemented traffic control, follow-up treatment is ongoing, and the cause of the accident is under investigation.

Relevant departments remind that vehicles, boats and people with traffic requirements are requested to detour in advance.
