In South Africa, members of the Ugandan diaspora are following the presidential campaign closely.

Many of them make a living from home deliveries in the city of Johannesburg and the image of Bobi Wine with his red beret, opposing outgoing President Museveni, is increasingly present on the motorcycles that crisscross the city.

Publicity

Uganda is preparing to vote to elect its future president. On January 14, the indestructible Yoweri Museveni, 76 years old and in power for 34 years, is running for a sixth term.

In front of him, his main opponent is Robert Kyagulanyi, 38, and better known as Bobi Wine.

The campaign, peppered with violence and attacks against the young opposition candidate, is in full swing in Uganda.
