Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 5th that it was confirmed that 187 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The number of people infected per day in the prefecture exceeds 100 for 14 consecutive days, the third highest in the past.
The breakdown is 71 in Fukuoka City and 43 in Kitakyushu City.
A total of 9664 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
