In the case of the spectacular Dresden jewelery theft, the police searched an apartment in Berlin on Tuesday morning.

Two cell phones and several documents were secured, which now have to be evaluated, as the Dresden public prosecutor announced on Tuesday.

The fifth suspect, who is still wanted, was not found in the apartment, and the search for him continues at high pressure.

In mid-December, the twin brother of the wanted man was caught in Berlin.

He belongs to the Remmo clan and is now in custody with three other suspects in Dresden.

On November 25th, 2019, several perpetrators stole jewels with a barely estimable value from the famous treasury of the Grünes Gewölbe in Dresden during one of the most spectacular break-ins of the past decades.

Conjectures and traces quickly led to Berlin.
