A young Jordanian woman with many faces ... imitating celebrities from Bab Al-Hara to Trump

Alaa Baliha stays behind the walls of her room for hours, wearing makeup on her face.

Alaa is not preparing to spend an evening outside the house, but is busy with something else, which is transforming her look and appearance to become another version of the community's stars and famous personalities.

She describes her art as a departure from boredom and monotony.

The 27-year-old, who graduated from the Faculty of Arts, explains that she was attached to this art since childhood when she painted mustaches on her face in imitation of the characters of a Syrian TV program.

Alaa took to social networking sites to showcase her talents, and the followers enjoyed by posting videos in which she posed for celebrities.

She says it takes three to seven hours to finalize one of her characters.

She adds that she chooses characters she loves to make her the subject of her art, and sometimes responds to the desires of her followers when they ask her to imitate a specific person, as was the case with US President Donald Trump and the late singer Farid al-Atrash.

And she adds, "After I finish the makeup, I have to do a sketch that is rich, and I try to imitate him to get it down, because most of the time you have to imitate the character and its movements and facial expressions to show you."

About her beginnings, she says: “We were young and we were doing the Bab al-Hara series .. We drew mustaches and these stories. After a few years, I started making dumps with my family. The topic was this, but a story (a story), I mean, it was a joke .. people wondered about it, it started asking for names of artists that I imitate them.

Although the Jordanian artist uses her hobby for entertainment and entertainment purposes only, she hopes that her skills will attract attention and help her work in film production.
