  He said that for the reporting time limit of adverse reactions, it is stipulated that the report should be carried out within 2 hours for particularly serious adverse reactions, and within 48 hours in general.

Wang Huaqing said that the diagnosis is done by the investigation and diagnosis teams set up at the provincial, municipal and county levels of disease control institutions. If identification is needed, the provincial and municipal medical associations will complete the diagnosis.

  He said that the monitoring of suspected vaccine adverse reactions is achieved through the monitoring information system established by the China Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the CDC and adverse drug reaction monitoring institutions realize information sharing.

Disease control agencies and adverse drug reaction monitoring agencies at all levels will also regularly analyze and evaluate the monitored information.

In case of major incidents, timely analysis and evaluation will be conducted.

With the in-depth development of work, the level of vaccine adverse reaction monitoring has been greatly improved.

In 2011 and 2014, respectively, through the World Health Organization's capacity assessment of the adverse reaction monitoring part of China's national vaccine regulatory system, the monitoring indicators for vaccine adverse reactions met or exceeded the evaluation standards of the World Health Organization.
