China News Service, Taizhou, January 2 (Fan Yubin and Yang Chenglong) Jiaojiang, one of the most important rivers in Zhejiang Province, is the mother river of Taizhou.

In order to guard the mouth of the Jiaojiang River and restore the original appearance of the beach, the reporter was informed on the 2nd that in the previous 40 days, the Jiaojiang District of Taizhou City had demolished 28 illegal docks and abandoned docks, and completed environmental improvement and upgrading 54 docks.

At the demolition site of Wushi illegal wharf in Jiatong Street, Jiaojiang District, all 7 illegal wharves will be demolished before January 4, and the demolition garbage will be emptied to restore the original appearance of the beach.

It is understood that most of the illegal docks currently existing in Jiaojiang were built in the 1990s, with poor facilities, outdated equipment, illegal and undocumented, and outstanding safety and environmental issues.

These piers that are being demolished are all "three noes" piers without port operating permits, sea area use certificates, and environmental assessment procedures, and they are suspected of illegally occupying the shoreline.

In order to completely rectify illegal docks, on November 22, 2020, the six departments of Jiaojiang District jointly issued a notice to carry out the renovation of illegal docks along the Jiaojiang River Basin.

Since then, the main leaders of Jiaojiang District led relevant functional departments to conduct on-site inspections of the centralized rectification of illegal wharves in Haimen, Baiyun, Jiatu, Qiansuo, and Zhang'an streets, study rectification plans, and advance rectification in an orderly manner.

For a period of time, daily, the local maritime department notified the ship's arrival in the port, the coastal police and the maritime patrol brigade reported the inspection of the ship, and the street office patrolled the shoreline to check the illegal berthing operation of the ship.

The "Red and Green List" is released every week to inform the progress of the renovation work to ensure the smooth progress of the terminal renovation and upgrading work.

During this process, the district carried out a comprehensive investigation of the distribution of wharves along the Jiaojiang River, drawing a wharf distribution map.

In order to facilitate the management, according to the purpose and nature, the wharves are classified into categories and based on the actual situation, the remediation plan is formulated, the remediation time is clarified, and the construction period is reversed to advance the remediation.

At the same time, the illegal docks were dismantled and rectified in three batches according to their structure and engineering difficulty.

Regarding the legal docks, in accordance with the requirements of "one dock, one plan", the renovation and upgrading were carried out in three batches.

After inviting a third party with environmental protection qualifications to check the terminal conditions on the spot, they will make “private customization” for each terminal based on the actual situation, or build additional sewage collection tanks, or harden the road surface. After the renovation is completed, the ecological environment and transportation Acceptance by other departments.

The person in charge of the Jiaojiang District Port and Shipping Development Center said that in the next stage, on the basis of comprehensive rectification, a long-term mechanism for terminal supervision will be established and improved, experience will be summarized, and the coordination of departmental supervision capabilities will be improved. Further strengthen the daily supervision and inspection, increase the inspection of the implementation of the environmental review and approval items, and form a supervision and inspection mechanism that combines daily inspections, surprise inspections, and unannounced visits.
