In Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture, a water leak occurred in the underground water pipe in the Osawa area, so from the 29th of last month, three days ago, the Minato area, Tenjinyama area, Minegami area, Takeoka area, and Kanaya area were combined. Water supply has been cut off in 4870 households.

Futtsu City and other cities have six emergency water supply stations in total, but some people cannot come to the water supply station to get water, so one day is in the district. Local welfare officers and others visited the homes of the elderly living alone to deliver drinking water.

According to the Kazusa Waterworks Wide Area Union Enterprise Group, on the morning of the 1st, the repair of the water leak was completed once and water was passed through on a trial basis, but after that, the water leak was confirmed again, and the work was difficult. So, as of 3:00 pm, there is no prospect of recovery.

Sachiko Miyoshi (91), who received drinking water from the local welfare officer, said, "I can't take a bath, and I'm having trouble with the toilet and food. I didn't think it would last so long."
