  [Explanation] At the beginning of 2020, in the critical stage of the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the Three Gorges Power Station continued to increase its power output and peak shaving capacity, and the clean power sent to East China, Central China, and southern provinces and cities reached the highest value in the same period in history. He resumed work and production to provide basic energy guarantee.

The Three Gorges Group strictly implements various risk control measures for the Three Gorges Project during the flood season, optimizes the operating conditions of the Three Gorges Power Station units, and the unit equipment is controllable. The Three Gorges Project is always in a safe and stable operation.

From December 12th to 30th, the Three Gorges Power Station urgently adjusted the operation mode, reasonably arranged the overhaul of the generating units, and added 8 units during the peak period, with a maximum output of 14.11 million kilowatts. The average daily output increased by a maximum of 3.29 million kilowatts compared with before the cold wave. The cumulative power generation was More than 3.7 billion kilowatt-hours has filled the electricity gap in time.
