The night patrol staff on duty Jiao Baijun put on five or six thick clothes inside and out, put on a helmet and a mask, only two eyes were exposed, and he walked out of the production dispatching command center with a flashlight and began to patrol the No. 5 gas gathering At this time, the outdoor temperature of various facilities of the station has dropped to minus 27 degrees Celsius.

The Sebei gas field is located in the eastern part of the Qaidam Basin, with an average elevation of 2780 meters. It is the gas producing area with the highest altitude, the most difficult conditions and the worst environment in China. The gas field has a total area of 150 square kilometers and is one of the four large gas fields in China.

The Sebei gas field is also the main strategic replacement gas source for the Se-Ninglan Pipeline and the West-East Gas Pipeline. It is an important gas supply base in the four provinces of Qinghai, Tibet, Gansu and Ningxia.

After Jiao Baijun and his group of three patrolled the No. 5 gas gathering station, they drove to the next station. They checked 6 stations in one night and patrolled twice every night, each time taking two to three hours.

Jiao Baijun comes from a "three generations" family in Qinghai Oilfield. In 2014, at the age of 22, he was influenced by his father and grandfather and became a member of Qinghai Oilfield. In the past few years, he has done more than 200 night patrols. But this is his first time on duty in New Year's Eve.

"For me, tonight is still just a normal night, nothing special. But I still hope that I can stand on the last guard on the last day of 2020." Jiao Baijun said.

In addition to the people who go out to patrol in the cold night, there are also staff who are on duty on New Year's Eve alone in the production command and dispatch center of the first gas production plant.

The production dispatcher Zhang Yong of the production dispatching command center needs to observe whether there are any differences in various data at any time. Once there are differences, he must notify the night patrol staff on duty as quickly as possible, and rush to the site for on-site inspection and maintenance to ensure gas production and gas gathering And the smooth operation of gas transmission.

According to the requirements, the staff on duty need to persist from 8:30 in the evening to 8:30 in the morning, and can hardly sleep.

"The conditions are much better now than before. In the past, the data on duty had to be handwritten by yourself, and you also had to be responsible for sewage discharge. Even the house on duty had air leaks everywhere. There was no time to sleep, and it was too cold." Zhang Yong sighed, "Now in the house. There is heating and air-conditioning, and the data is transmitted in real time. I only need to check whether there is any difference. The sewage discharge is also fully automated, and there is no need to run out in the middle of the night to manually discharge the sewage.

Near zero, Zhang Yong told reporters that after New Year's Eve is his 36-year-old natal year, this is also the third time he has been on duty on New Year's Eve.

"One minute on the job, sixty seconds of dedication. All our staff have been sticking to their posts, and finally we exceeded the annual output target." Zhang Yong said.

"Affected by the epidemic and other factors, it is actually very difficult to ensure supply this winter." According to Zhang Yongbin, director of the Gas Production Technology Research Institute of Qinghai Oilfield No. 1 Gas Production Plant, 257 new wells were drilled this year, a record high in 25 years. , Achieving a daily increase of 2.77 million cubic meters of gas production, and a cumulative increase of 440 million cubic meters of production throughout the year.

At the same time, in order to ensure the stability of natural gas production and complete the target of 5.34 billion cubic meters of annual output, the Sebei Gas Field has implemented more than 5,600 measures for maintenance operations on more than 500 wells in 2020, through the vigorous implementation of drainage and gas production and the implementation of sand control technology. Continuously upgrading, the daily gas production increased by 3.55 million cubic meters, and the cumulative annual output exceeded 800 million cubic meters.

At 4 o'clock in the morning on the 1st, Jiao Baijun and his party braved the cold wind and started a new round of patrol.
