Fighting hard, all the open flames were put out at 8:58 that day.

  At about 14:00 on December 28, 2020, a forest fire broke out in Group 4 of Luli Village, Liren Village, Diqing Prefecture Economic Development Zone.

The fire site is about 3000 meters above sea level. The vegetation on the fire site is a mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forest dominated by Yunnan pine.

  As of 9:00 on January 1, 2021, a total of 1,816 rescue forces have been deployed, 5 helicopters have been dispatched, 19 sorties have been flown, and 33 barrels of water about 76 tons have been sprayed.

  After the fire was extinguished, the "12.28" Forest Fire Emergency Response Headquarters of Diqing Economic Development Zone held a fire site handover meeting.

The meeting called for further strengthening of strength, layering of responsibilities, and strict prevention of secondary disasters.
