South Africa, the continent most affected by the coronavirus, and which had already taken drastic measures to combat the spread of the virus from March to June of this year, is once again facing a rebound from the pandemic of Covid-19.
President Cyril Ramaphosa on Monday, December 28, announced new restrictions in a country already under severe strain, especially economically.
Thierry Vircoulon, coordinator of the Central and Southern Africa Observatory at IFRI, is currently staying in the country.
