It is the end of a very special year which will be declared on Thursday evening.

There will be no waiver of the curfew, so major holidays fall by the wayside.

But nothing prevents listening to music and swinging your hips at home.

To celebrate 2021 in the best possible way, Europe 1 has prepared a small medley of concerts not to be missed on New Year's Eve.

New Year's Eve on Thursday evening will take place at home because of the coronavirus.

And for good reason, there will be no exemption from the curfew, which applies from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

But it will not be forbidden to listen to music, or even to dance.

And why not with Jean-Michel Jarre, David Guetta or even Kylie Minogue who, for the occasion, will be doing concerts online.

Another performance: that of Jean-Michel Jarre in the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral reconstituted in virtual reality.

In this event, sponsored by Unesco, the artist will be represented in the form of an avatar.

The concert is called "welcome to the other side".

A nod for those who wish, with optimism, to make 2021 the year after.
