The Shanghai Central Meteorological Observatory has successively issued yellow cold wave warnings, strong wind yellow warnings, and low temperature yellow warning signals.
The strong winds brought by the current cold wave were very violent, especially in areas such as Jiading and Baoshan, where the instantaneous wind reached 11 meters per second.
"I went out to cut my hair in the afternoon. I didn't know that the wind was so strong and my umbrella was blown out." Tang Xiaomi, who lives in Pudong New Area, held an umbrella with only a pair of umbrella stands left, laughing and crying.
In the afternoon of the same day, at the intersection of Chengzhong Road, Qingsong Road, Qingpu District, and Chengzhong Road, Chengzhong North Road, the more than 30-meter isolation fence fell to the ground without being "damaged" by the gale.
Qingpu traffic police quickly eliminated risks to avoid potential safety hazards.

However, Shanghai's "quick freezing" mode has just started.
According to the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau, it will be below freezing all day on the 30th. The minimum temperature in the urban area is only minus 5°C and the maximum temperature is minus 1°C, with severe freezing.
From the 31st to the morning of January 1, 2021, the minimum temperature is still minus 6℃ to minus 5℃.
Shanghai will be the New Year's Eve in the "cold weather".
