On the occasion of World Pneumonia Day, we are focusing on pneumonia in children.

This infection of the lungs is caused either by bacteria, viruses or fungi.

Publicity

According to the WHO, pneumonia is responsible for 15% of the total number of deaths in children under 5.

Chills, fever, heavy cough, rapid and difficult breathing, loss of appetite, chest pain or stomach pain are the main signs.
