The Big Heart, the global humanitarian organization concerned with helping refugees and the needy, based in the Emirate of Sharjah, has provided 252,500 dirhams ($ 68,748,000), with the aim of supporting a project to professionally and economically empower about 300 women in the city of Nanyuki in the Republic of Kenya, in cooperation with the Nama Foundation To advance women, whose contribution amounts to about 100,000 dirhams ($ 27,174,000) of the total value of the project.

The Big Heart explained that the project, which was launched last October and is expected to be completed in December 2021, is a professional development program aimed at teaching women in the city the skills of spinning, knitting, dyeing and weaving wool, under the supervision of the Nanyuki Spinners and Weavers Training Foundation. Professional.

The Foundation stated that the project includes the construction of a building for the workshop that will attract the targets of the project, provided that it covers the expenses of materials needed for work and meals provided to women during training, and the financing of tuition fees for 12 orphan children of the targeted children.
