As the infection of the new coronavirus spreads rapidly in Tokyo and the work of health centers is becoming tight, multiple health centers in Tokyo will jointly conduct trial coordination work to find patients' hospitalization and transfer destinations at night from the 28th. going.

The work of health centers is tight in Tokyo, and especially at night, in addition to coordinating work to find hospitalization and transfer destinations for patients, transportation of people who are sick at home is carried out at each health center. A small number of doctors on duty were available.

Under these circumstances, about 15 health centers, which are half of Tokyo, have been jointly conducting nighttime coordination work on a trial basis since the 28th.

This is the first time that multiple health centers have jointly made such an attempt, and the aim is to reduce the burden and to make quick adjustments during the year-end and New Year holidays, when medical institutions are expected to be closed and it will be difficult to coordinate hospitalizations and transfers.

The initiative will take place from the 28th to the 3rd of next month, from 5pm to 7am the next day, and doctors and nurses will take turns from each health center to respond to the request at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government, which supports the health center, said, "I want to survive this year-end and New Year holidays. Corona support is still going on, so I want to support the health center so that it can respond sustainably. However," not to get infected "is the most important thing. I want each and every one of us to take thorough measures. "
