34,000 households without electricity in eastern and central France

Storm Bella wreaked havoc.

About 34,000 homes were deprived of electricity Sunday evening in eastern and central France as the storm continued its course according to the manager of the electricity network Enedis.

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Alsace France Comté are particularly affected, said a spokesperson for the company.

Enedis says it is "mobilized to restore electricity to these homes" without commenting on the time frame for a return to normal.
