Singer Solbi (real name Kwon Ji-an) reacted in a unique way when the design plagiarism controversy over the cake he made.

On the 28th, Solbi released a video on his SNS with the article'Just a cake'.

In the video, Solbi was eating the controversial cake.

It is a picture of eating a cake silently with an expressionless face.

It seems to be a video to emphasize the clarification that it is not for sale.

Earlier, Solbi posted a post and a photo on his social media account, saying, "I'm obsessed with making cakes in the bakery with social distancing these days. Is it too experimental?

But Cake was caught up in an unexpected plagiarism controversy. It was pointed out that he followed'Play-Doh' by contemporary artist Jeff Koons. Solbi revised the post, saying, "The cake was inspired by the creation of Jeff Koons'play-doh' while watching children play clay."

It also emphasized that it is not for sale. However, on the online mall of company V, they were selling a cake made by Solbi, saying, “Chunky Cake Edition”. In the description of the cake, the phrase'Solbi lettering made to order' was specified, raising doubts about the previous explanation.

Solbi is also active as a painter following her singer activity. Earlier this year, the artist was selected as a resident artist at Jangheung Gana Atelier, an artist's creative space supported by Gana Art, a representative art gallery in Korea.
