At the trial on the 25th, the Tokyo District Court decided to cross-examine five former TEPCO executives in May and July next year.



Former Chairman Tsunehisa Katsumata, Former President Masataka Shimizu, Former Vice President Ichiro Takekuro, Former Vice President Sakae Mutou, and Former Managing Director Akio Komori will be cross-examined.



Of these, former chairman Katsumata, former vice president Takekuro, and former vice president Muto were forcibly charged with fatal accidents in business, and were acquitted in the first instance, and former president Shimizu and former managing director Komori are the first. It was also decided to cross-examine nuclear engineers and earthquake experts prior to the cross-examination of the former management.
