On December 25, the night view of the Pingtan Strait Highway and Railway Bridge in Fujian was brilliant, and the colorful lighting effects made the bridge particularly beautiful.

The Pingtan Strait Bridge is 16.34 kilometers long.

The upper layer of the bridge is designed as a six-lane highway with a speed of 100 kilometers per hour, and the lower layer is designed as a double-track Class I railway with a speed of 200 kilometers per hour.

This is also China's first road-rail dual-use sea-crossing bridge.

The Fuping Railway (Fuzhou to Pingtan) will be opened for operation on December 26. At the same time, the Pingtan Strait Highway and Railway Bridge will also be put into use at the same time. Fuzhou to Pingtan can be reached in 35 minutes at the fastest.
