NATO military exercises near the borders of Russia have a clear anti-Russian orientation, the number of provocations is growing, stated Chief of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces General of the Army Valery Gerasimov.

According to him, there is also a significant increase in the military budgets of NATO countries, their military potential, including in the field of missile defense, continues to grow.

Paradoxically, this is good news for Russia.

Not because war is good, although the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche would argue with that, but because NATO's preparation for war with us finally puts everything in its place.

If NATO is preparing for a war with Russia, then there is no longer any ambiguity in relations with the West as a civilization as a whole.

There is no point in the antics and giggling of home-grown liberals, they say, "what a savagery" to see an enemy in the "civilized" West.

Or, as one often hears from especially young fans of the West, in response to warnings about its aggressiveness: "Oh, who needs us."

No, these, perhaps, will be just as servile towards the representatives of the "civilized peoples of the West" and at the moment when they appear before them in full gear during the sweeps.

Well, at least now, we should not confuse normal, healthy Russian people with their howls.

Those who feel that the West is the enemy, but the sobs and groans of the handshake liberal public raised in American cinema are somewhat embarrassing: maybe, indeed, the West is not an enemy, but so ...

At this point, it is necessary to include the answer of the Chief of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces, General of the Army Valery Gerasimov: “The measures for the training of the alliance's troops, in which non-aligned countries are increasingly involved, are being carried out with a clearly expressed anti-Russian orientation.

There is an increase in provocative activities near the Russian borders. "

And everything falls into place again.

The West and its NATO are an enemy, and what an enemy!

Even if we completely forgot our history, forgot how every century they threw out the Western conquerors from the Russian land, then the memory of blood should remain.

The only thing left to do is to shut the mouths of the Western agents so as not to embarrass.

Shut up, of course, softly, democratically - with a Russian down mitten or a silk scarf of shutdown and complete informational ignorance (for this, by the way, you also need to prepare well first - no worse than a hot war).

Although at some point, when the “Poles” ... That is, no - when the new liberal agents of the West sat in the Kremlin and ruled (more precisely, destroyed the Russian statehood), Russia was even friends with NATO.

Rather, it was our liberal elite who believed they were friends.

The NATO leadership recorded the surrender of positions, retreat and self-destruction on the part of the then, from the “holy nineties,” Russian elites.

The people, as usual, were gloomily silent.

The friendship ended in 2008, after the events in South Ossetia.

Although the question of how much we need these relations with NATO in general arose much earlier.

It is not yet clear what efforts the NATO side is making to encourage the Russian leadership to resume their former cooperation, and whether they are doing it at all, but the fact that NATO armadas are again sliding towards Russia's borders is quite obvious.

The events of August 2008 became a good chance to end all relations with the North Atlantic Alliance, which was finally confirmed by the expulsion of two of our diplomats, accused of espionage in the spring of 2009.

This also includes the NATO exercises in Georgia that followed soon and other unfriendly steps, up to the piling up of old American technology near our borders in the Baltic states under the pretext of exercises.

But even this did not become a reason to finally close the topic of Russia-NATO cooperation.

Voices about the resumption of such cooperation from the liberal camp are still being heard.

In response, as recently as December 7, 2020, experts from The National Interest say that “relations between Russia and NATO are so tense that any misinterpreted incident could lead the parties into a state of“ accidental war ”.

Earlier, on December 3, the Russian Foreign Ministry expressed concern about the buildup of NATO military forces in the Black Sea, noting the increased number of calls by NATO navies at the Black Sea ports of allies and "partners", flights of reconnaissance aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles along the Russian borders.

Now the General Staff has already announced an increase in the number of NATO provocations near the borders of Russia, and this is much closer to a real NATO war against Russia.

On the other hand, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg accuses Russia of increasing its military power, especially in Crimea.

And casually he says that, they say, it was Russia "attacked" (with the help of a democratic referendum in Crimea, apparently) on Ukraine, as well as on Georgia (who attacked whom, Mikhail Saakashvili apparently told Stoltenberg), violating the territorial integrity of these new "allies" of the United States and NATO.

In response to this, Stoltenberg, the head of the aggressive NATO bloc, would be well to remind that the United States, in fact, which created NATO to "contain Russia", violated, for example, the territorial integrity of Mexico, tearing away from it almost half of its historical territory.

Therefore, both Russia and the CSTO countries may well make efforts to assist the Mexican government in the return of these illegally, militarily, aggressively, during the war, the seized territories of Mexico.

Also, Russia and the CSTO have their own interests in the Caribbean, because our allies - Venezuela and Cuba - are located there, and, given the interests of Russia and Mexico in Cuba, we urgently need to strengthen the presence of the Russian navy in the Gulf of Mexico.

This is a strategically important point for us, and the presence of the Russian military fleet there meets the interests of Russia and the CSTO countries.

In general, it is clear that it was Russia that unacceptably brought its borders closer to NATO bases, and they won’t think differently there, they simply don’t know how, but the fact remains that our Western “partners” forget the history of their campaigns against Russia every century.

It remains for us, especially after very unequivocal warnings from the leadership of the Russian military department, to prepare again for war.

Moreover, to prepare not only at the level of the military department itself, but also morally, at the level of society, simultaneously improving network and information technologies along with hypersonic missiles and air defense systems.

It is necessary to prepare for war at the level of world outlook, ideological, cultural (getting rid of Western cultural occupation), ideological.

Clearing out the Western, liberal agents from the Russian elites and the expert information community.

In a war, it will inflict colossal damage on us, carrying out blows from within.

That is, it is necessary to prepare for war seriously and at all levels.

That is, of course, if we really want peace.
