China News Service, Hong Kong, December 25. Hong Kong Customs announced on December 25 that the customs seized about 1.8 kg of suspected liquid cocaine at the Hong Kong International Airport on the 24th, with an estimated market value of about 3.2 million Hong Kong dollars.

  According to information released by the Hong Kong Customs, the Customs arrested a 30-year-old man at the Hong Kong International Airport on the 24th. He arrived in Hong Kong from Sao Paulo, Brazil via Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

When customs officers cleared the customs for him, they found six bottles of personal hygiene products containing suspected liquid cocaine in his luggage.

The man was charged with one count of trafficking in dangerous drugs. The case will appear in Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts on December 26.

  The Hong Kong Customs pointed out that during the Christmas and New Year holidays, it cannot be ruled out that drug cartels are eager to traffic drugs in response to the market demand during the long holidays. The Customs will further strengthen law enforcement during the holidays.
