Today, Grand reportage takes you to a town on the coast of northern France.

Calais, opposite England, is a hotspot for migrants from all walks of life.

They are between 1,500 and 2,000, coming mainly from the Horn of Africa with one ambition: to cross the Channel and reach Great Britain.

Publicity

In a few years, the city has been transformed, walls and fences have been put up all around the port, the TGV station so that migrants cannot cross the sea, around vacant lots so that they cannot set up their tents. .

Border surveillance has increased.

But, the passages have never been so numerous.

And smuggling networks have never grown so well.

Calais, migrants under surveillance.
