The Tokyo Regional Prosecutor's Office has not prosecuted an officer of a temporary staffing agency in Tokyo who was arrested for causing a Vietnamese to perform work that is not permitted by the status of residence.

A 53-year-old managing director of a temporary staffing agency in Toshima Ward, Tokyo, said that from November to October last year, Vietnamese in their 20s were forced to sort food items that are not recognized as a status of residence. He was arrested on suspicion of promoting illegal employment.



As a result of the investigation, the Tokyo Public Prosecutor's Office dismissed this managing director on the 25th.



The prosecution has not disclosed the reason for the disposition.
