Broadcast from 1998 to 2004 on HBO in the United States, then in France on M6, the series "Sex and the city" has since become cult for a whole generation.

Extended by two films, we thought the fiction around four rich New York friends buried for good.

She will however make her return for a new season.

We thought we had said goodbye several times to Carrie Bradshaw, Charlotte York, Miranda Hobbes and Samantha Jones.

The four characters from the

Sex and the city series

are back once again.

The series which follows the adventures of love of four rich New York friends was broadcast on HBO from 1998 to 2004, then on M6 in France.

With or without Samantha?

This time,

Sex and the city

will have a reboot

, since the streaming platform HBO Max has announced that a brand new season of the cult series is on its way.

According to the American site Vulture, it is still unclear whether the character of Samantha Jones, played by Kim Cattrall, will be there or not.

The actress had made no secret in recent years that she felt she had taken the tour of the character, and that she did not get along at all with Sarah Jessica Parker, alias Carrie Bradshaw.

The latter had for her part explained that

Sex and the city

could, fortunately according to her, no longer be launched today, because it focuses only on the lives of white and wealthy women, at a time when the public is calling for heroines that look like him.
