The late Goo Hara's brother was ruled in favor of a partial lawsuit against his mother, Song-mo.

On the 18th, the court of the Gwangju District Court was divided into 6:4 instead of 5:5 by the bereaved family and mother in a lawsuit filed against Goo Hara's biological brother, Goo Hara, against her mother, Song Mo, for the division of the inherited property. He ruled. It was judged that the contribution of the survivors was set at 20%.

Previously, under the current law, even if one parent raises a child alone in a single parent family, the court did not recognize the contribution.

Attorney Noh Jong-eon, the legal representative of Mr. Gu Ho-in, said, "Under the current legal system, the judgment of this court, which recognized the contribution by comprehensive consideration of various circumstances, is a step forward from the standpoint of the existing court under the current legal system where the Goo Hara Act has not yet been passed I interpreted the meaning of "judgment".

However, the ruling that a significant portion of the child's inherited property is returned to parents who gave up all custody and custody of their children and gave up their parenting obligations remains regrettable.

Regarding this, Lawyer Noh said, "Unless the Goo Hara Act is revised, it is practically impossible to judge that parents who have abandoned their children will lose the right to complete inheritance." He called for continued interest and support for the passage of the Goo Hara Act.
