: It can help.
For example, if you have a mother who showed little love for you as a child, it helps to know about her childhood.
If she had a family where compassion was a foreign word, this idea can be comforting.
It's not up to you, you weren't a bad child yourself, but your mother gave what she could and, based on her own story, became this person who stands before you.
To see it this way is definitely a high-performance
