As the infection of the new coronavirus spreads, an event was held at Noto Airport in Ishikawa Prefecture where Santa Claus distributed gifts to children in a drive-through manner.

This event was planned by an organization created by Ishikawa Prefecture and an airport building management company.

Santa Claus, who appeared before 10 am, waved and responded to the visitor deck with children.

Then, he moved to the parking lot on a sled pulled by a reindeer in a costume, and handed 500 presents packed with sweets to the children through the window of the car.

Every year, the event is held in the terminal building of the airport, but this is a drive-through method to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.

The children who received the gift from Santa Claus thanked them with a smile, saying "Thank you."

The mother of Anamizu Town, who participated with her children, said, "I couldn't take a commemorative photo with Santa, but I'm glad the children enjoyed it."
