Mariah Carey's Christmas hit
All I Want For Christmas
has just taken No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. And if you have a feeling of déjà vu, rest assured, that's okay.
Indeed, the song which appeared for the first time on the 1994 album
Merry Christmas
occupied the same place in the charts last year for three weeks.
This had allowed the diva to break a record, since never a Christmas song had remained so long in this place of the podium.

It remains to be seen whether the festive anthem will meet a similar fate this year.
Especially since it is followed in the ranking by three other classics of the same taste, namely
Rockin'Around The Christmas Tree
by Brenda Lee,
Jingle Bell Rock
by Bobby Helms and
It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
by Andy Williams.

Of course, Mariah Carey did not fail to say a big thank you to her fans for the longevity of her winter reign.
“WOW!
I really did not expect it at all !!!
I will be eternally grateful for the lasting success of this song.
“I don't want much for Christmas…”, just a little more JOY and may the Christmas spirit take over everyone, especially this year.
Merry Christmas !
